Our Story

A Mother's Village nonprofit was born from a heartfelt journey of compassion and care. After years of working intimately with women and mothers as a doula, our founder Misty couldn't ignore the growing need for a nurturing village culture and the vital support systems mothers deserved. The visible toll that isolation was taking on families stirred a deep well of passion within her, igniting the vision for A Mother's Village.

 

With unwavering dedication, Misty envisioned a warm and accessible community, a sanctuary where ancient village culture could thrive. It would be a place of comfort and connection, embracing sacred circles for mothers and women, offering a haven for children to bond and flourish, and above all, serving as a source of profound nourishment for the soul.

Each member of our passionate team has brought their unique strengths and wisdom, creating a beautiful mosaic of support for our community. With expertise as doulas, herbalists, and ayurvedic practitioners, our team offers a beautiful array of holistic guidance, breathing life into the dream of A Mother's Village.
